Sports

miniTourneys is a Netball competition. We offer both ladies and mixed.

Register

A registration fee is payable upon entry, which will be sent to you via SMS and email. Your invoice comes with a 3-day due date - however we work on a first paid, first in basis. So the sooner you pay, the sooner you can lock your spot in.

Costs

Full Court Netball: $160.00 per team (7-a-side).
Beach Netball: $100.00 per team (4-a-side).
There are no fees on the day of the event.

THE TOURNEY

Fixtures

Fixtures are automatically generated as soon as the tournament is full. It will be made available on our website and a direct link will be sent to the team Captains.

How It Runs

Each miniTourney will have a maximum of 8 teams (or 16 for Upsized). Games will consist of two 12-minute halves and each team will play 3 (5 for upsized) round robin games. Teams are then divided into two divisions (four, Upsized) where all teams will play in a Semi Final. The winners progress to the Grand Final.

Equipment

We will provide all equipment. Balls, umpires, positional/coloured bibs, electronic scoreboards and venue. All you have to do is turn up. Your team needs to be in the same colour top.

EXTRAS

Info Pack

After you have paid your team entry, an info pack will be sent to you with exact details on venue, time to arrive and other information you might need. You can also call us on (03) 9495-0909 or email info@citysidesports.com for further info.

The Winners

The winning team of each division shall be forever celebrated (or at least until the next tournament) and each player will receive a winners medallion.

Zero Tolerance

Our tournaments are strictly for social sporting enthusiasts. We have zero tolerance for bad sportsmanship including abuse to umps/refs or opponents, and will not hesitate to ask a player or team to leave mid-tourney with no refund.

Insurance

miniTourneys via CitySide Sports, offers optional insurance. You can purchase this at $20.00 per team, per event. If purchased, every player in your team will be covered under our insurance policy found here: Insurance Policy

UPsized

If a tournament is listed as upsized, then the amount of maximum teams and divisions is doubled. The tournament is extended to 5 hours and a maximum of 16 teams will be accepted that will split into 4 divisions for finals. There is no extra charge for upsized events.
